Consultation and Evaluation
A Structured First Visit. A Clear Answer.
This visit is designed to answer one question:
Are you a strong candidate for this type of care?
Not everyone is. You will be told directly.
Step 1: Focused Consultation
We review:
- exact pain location and pattern
- duration and progression
- what you’ve already tried
- what has failed or plateaued
- how it affects movement, activity, and daily function
This establishes whether your case fits a chronic tendon, joint, or overload-driven pattern.
Step 2: Biomechanical Examination
You are evaluated for:
- joint mechanics and movement quality
- load tolerance and stability
- compensations above and below the problem area
- likely involved structures (tendon, fascia, joint, muscle)
Step 3: Tissue Mapping
- Using the Focused Shockwave Therapy instrument, finding the exact location of the tissues involved
The goal is to identify the true pain generator, not just where it hurts.
Step 4: Candidacy Decision
You will be told one of three things:
- you are a strong candidate
- you are a partial candidate with limitations
- you are not a fit for this approach
If imaging or another step is needed first, that is addressed.
Step 5: Clear Recommendation
If you qualify, you will be given:
- what is likely causing the pain
- what needs to be treated
- whether focused shockwave therapy is appropriate
- how many visits are typically required
- what kind of response timeline is realistic
- the full financial investment before care begins
No vague plans. No trial-and-error.
Who This Visit Is For
- persistent pain that hasn’t resolved
- failed or temporary results from prior care
- patients who want a clear, non-surgical path
- patients who want to know if this actually fits their case
